OFFICIAL: “The Eminem Show” is Best Selling Cassette Rap Album of 2017 !

Surprisingly, cassette tapes are making a huge comeback and hip hop giants like Eminem and Kanye West are the rappers who leading the charge. In 2017, there were 175,000 copies of cassette albums sold, a 35.1% increase from 2016 when 129,100 copies were sold, according to Nielson Music.

Talking about Rap and Hip Hop, Eminem and Kanye West appear in the top 10. The Rap God sits at  number 5 as people bought 3,100 cassettes of Eminem’s The Eminem Show alone in 2017. Kanye West holds at  number 9, as he sold 2,050 copies of his Yeezus album.
