“Untouchable” details the racial injustice in America from a Caucasian perspective on the first 2 verses. As a white male, Eminem feels “untouchable,” while his black counterparts struggle to avoid problems with the law. The last verse appears to switch views to that of an African-American.

The song was released on the same day that former South Carolina police officer Michael Slager was sentenced to 20 years in prison for the shooting death of Walter Scott in 2015, while he was fleeing, unarmed from the scene in broad daylight.

The main production on the song is done by Mr. Porter, Emile Hayni and Mark Batson. Eminem also co-produced the track. The song samples “Earache My Eye” by Cheech And Chong.
