Yesterday Lord Jamar sat down with VladTV and shared his thoughts on Eminem’s recent BET cypher where he said: “I loved the cypher, thank you Eminem for that but what I didn’t like was the black dudes standing behind him making the imagery of white-man-gonna-save-black-men.”

Royce Da 5’9″ didn’t like the comments Jamar made about the cypher and released a video on Instagram, with the caption: “I was one of those “Black people in the background of the cipher” … Benson just died, I shouldn’t even have to think about this … Fake woke a** ni**as.”

In the video, Royce says: “Why do you all care about who was in the background of the cypher? Why do you all care if it were black people in the background of the cypher? What do you think ni**as, we were casted? You think its some kind of imaging and we got put together by like some f**king white force? Eminem is my f**king friend man. He’s been friend since ’97. I support everything he does and he supports everything I do. I hope you ni**as support your friends and your friends support you and if they don’t that’s your f**king problem. He got up there, he uses his platform, what do you think my black a** supposed to do? Come out from the background and grab the mic like ‘give me this mic white boy, I’m the one who’s supposed to do this. I’m black one.’ It don’t work like that. It’s a thing called ‘protocol’ that keeps me from doing that. You wanna know how I feel about things? Go listen to my f**king albums and I’m proud to call Em my friend. And if you got problem with me for supporting my friend kiss my a**.”
