Tens of thousands of revellers will flock to Bellahouston Park in Glasgow tomorrow night for the rap superstar’s return to the city.

Cops and organizers are ramping up security at the Summer Sessions event with increased searches and heightened visibility in place.

Police have also revealed armed cops will be deployed to the park amid the current terror threat level of “Severe”.

It comes less than a week after a horror terror attack in Barcelona where a van run into dozens of innocent people.

Earlier this year The Scottish Sun told how cops were putting together strict security measures for the return of the rap superstar after his gig four years ago led to sex attacks, fights and drug use.

Officers say trouble won’t be tolerated when the US hip hop artist headlines Bellahouston Park’s Summer Sessions on Thursday.

And police have also revealed armed patrols will be watching over thousands of fans at the gig.

A police spokeswoman said: “There will be an increased security presence at the event with firearms officers present in and around venue as well as in the city center. It is, however, important to stress there is no specific intelligence to suggest there is a threat to the concert. This deployment is standard in crowded places given the current security level of SEVERE. Our advice remains the same – be alert but not alarmed and enjoy the festival.”
