Eminem’s greatest hits album Curtain Call: The Hits completes its 350th week on US Billboard 200 charts, more than any other Hip-Hop / Rap album in history.
The album debuted at #1 on US Billboard 200, after two sales days (December 8, 2005), in a similar fashion to Eminem’s previous album Encore. The album racked up first-week sales of nearly 441,000 copies.
Curtain Call: The Hits is 7x platinum in the United States, selling over 7,100,000 copies in the country. It also gave Eminem his fifth straight #1 album in the US when including the 8 Mile soundtrack.
For the record, Top 3 Rap albums with the most weeks on Billboard 200 belongs to Eminem: Curtain Call: The Hits (350 weeks), The Eminem Show (329 weeks) and Recovery (288 weeks).
