Eminem Blocks Kendrick Lamar to Become Highest Charting Rapper of This Decade



Kendrick Lamar’s “HUMBLE.,” produced by Mike WiLL Made-It, is now the highest-charting single of Lamar’s career as a lead artist, as it debuts at #2 on Billboard Hot 100. His previous highest charting song was “Swimming Pools,” which peaked at #17. The song has racked up 46 million YouTube views and 39 million Spotify streams in the 10 days since its release.


“HUMBLE.” becomes the highest-debuting rap song on the Billboard Hot 100 since Eminem’s “Not Afraid” debuted at No. 1 in 2010, which sold 380,000 digital copies in its first week that equals 570 million streams… Listen to HUMBLE below:
