Today, 17 Years Ago, Bad Meets Evil Released First Single “Nuttin’ to Do” / “Scary Movies”



On this day, exactly 17 years ago, Eminem and Royce Da 5’9″ released “Nuttin’ to Do” / “Scary Movies” as the duo Bad Meets Evil, under Game Recordings. A year later, Bad Meets Evil would break up and Eminem would go on to work with D12 and Royce Da 5’9″ would work on solo projects. Royce took “Nuttin’ to Do” for his album Build and Destroy, and he also featured the sequel to “Scary Movies” as a solo song on it called “Scary Movies (The Sequel)”. “Scary Movies” was also featured on the soundtrack to the 2000 film Scary Movie.


The single appeared on US Billboard Rap Songs charts, peaking at #32 and UK’s Singles Chart peaking at #63.


The CD version of the singles include street and radio versions, as well as instrumentals. It also features a bonus track by Royce entitled “I’m the King.” Below is the official cover of CD:
