The Real Meaning Behind Eminem’s Lyrics on Skylar Grey’s “Kill For You”

Hours before the release of Skylar Grey’s new album Natural Causes, she released the Eminem-assisted single, “Kill For You.” It’s a love ballad with a dark twist and details just how far the two would go for their significant others.

On his new verse, Eminem references Bonnie and Clyde’s March 1932 robbery of a Kansas bank:

Always ride, whatever the plan is
To the end, even if I led us into an ambush
Even if we robbed the First National and cops caught us redhanded
They’re coming at us, and we’re trapped, put our backs up
