The 10 Best First Week Album Sales in the History of Rap

Complex listed the fastest selling albums of all time in the history of Hip Hop & Rap. Kanye West, Lil Wayne, 50 Cent and Eminem made twice into the list which opens with Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP2 and end with Eminem’s The Marshall Mathers LP.  You can see the rankings below:

10. The Marshall Mathers LP 2 (2013) by Eminem – 720,000 Copies.

9. Doggystyle (1993) by Snoop Doggy Dogg  – 802,858 Copies.

8. Late Registration (2005) by Kanye West  – 860,000 Copies.

7. Get Rich Or Die Tryin’ (2003) by 50 Cent – 872,000 Copies.

6. Graduation (2007) by Kanye West – 957,000 Copies.

5. Tha Carter IV (2011) by Lil Wayne – 964,000 Copies.

4. Tha Carter III (2008) by Lil Wayne – 1,006,000 Copies.

3. Views (2016) by Drake – 1,039,058 Copies.

2. The Massacre (2005) by 50 Cent – 1,141,000 Copies.

1. The Marshall Mathers LP (2000) by Eminem – 1,760,000 Copies.

NOTE 1: This sales numbers are only in the United States of America.

NOTE 2: Eminem’s “The Eminem Show” sold 230,000 copies in one day, but because of the street violation there was some problems. The following week the album sold 1.32 Million copies and this is the reason The Eminem Show didn’t make the list.
